Impressions is a wall-mounted acoustic tile system where six classic Knoll Textiles patterns are ‘impressed” onto a high performance ultra-thin acoustic substrate to provide sound absorption within an interior. Impressions is manufactured in the USA, using specialized machinery and a proprietary breakthrough process, creating the only ‘impressed” acoustical wall tile of its kind.
Each 12″ x 12″ tile easily slides onto a Z-clip rail system allowing for simple installation. Impressions NRC rating is 0.77-0.93 at levels where the human voice registers. The overall NRC rating is 0.55. Different levels of ‘impression” add dimension and texture to tiles, turning walls into beautiful, sculptural surfaces. Impressions is appropriate for any commercial or residential space where sound absorption is desired.
